Well, it’s been a long time since deciding to do this wonderful play, but all of us at Couch Theatre are so proud and happy to finally present to you the English-language German premiere of the staged reading of Zinnie Harris’s Further Than The Furthest Thing, tonight and tomorrow at Sprechwerk Theatre in Hamburg. Come with us to this magical island and listen to the inhabitants speak of things like Pinnawin H’eggs, H’England tea and The Patches and about the “H’outside warld” as if they were telling a fairy tale. But there are secrets buried on this island. And when the islanders find their world blown apart from within as well as from outside, who knows how long these secrets can remain buried.
