Tristan da Cunha from space

Thanks to ‘roscosofficial’ for this fantastic view from space of the most remote inhabited island in the world – Tristan da Cunha. The archipelago of Tristan da Cunha comprises four islands located 1,500 miles from South Africa and 1,300 miles from St. Helena.

It forms the backdrop for the wonderful play by Zinnie Harris, Further Than The Furthest Thing, which was inspired by the events surrounding the evacuation of the entire island to the UK in 1961.

We will be performing a rehearsed reading of the play on 6th and 7th March 2020 at 8 p.m. at Hamburg Sprechwerk, Klaus Groth Str. 3, Hamburg. Details on our flyer/poster.
