The Hunchback Variations by Mickle Maher at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival

The first play Couch Theatre produced and performed now heads to Edinburgh*

The first play we ever produced and performed was in September 2018.

It was the hilarious, touching and unique The Hunchback Variations by Mickle Maher.

This panel discussion between Quasimodo and Beethoven, directed by Rebecca Garron and starring Martin John Mills and Harald Djürken, was a Rover Rep Theater Production first presented in 2007. It was revived by The Hamburg Players in 2018 and taken to the FEATS Festival in Antwerp, Belgium, where it won two awards – Best Production and Best Actor for Harald Djürken in the role of Quasimodo.

And now they are all in Edinburgh as they are taking part in the world famous, and world‘s largest, Fringe Festival.

We want to wish them all the very best and we sincerely hope that Edinburgh audiences will love it and them as much as our Hamburg audiences did!
