In Sherlock Holmes’ latest adventure, following a series of murders at an exclusive English-German club Inspector Lestrade turns to the genius detective for help. Holmes suggests a short working holiday on the continent, and so Holmes, Watson, Inspector Lestrade and Mrs Hudson decamp to Hamburg. Here, they are confronted with the customs and morals of St Pauli and encounter a curious array of characters, including a club vice-president interested in contacting the dead.
With the help of a mysterious lady detective, Inspector Lestrade’s understanding of German grammar and Mrs Hudson’s baking brilliance, and despite Dr Watson’s more willing than able assistance, can Holmes solve the case?
A new challenge for the master detective in the form of a very dramatic dramatized reading in 5 chapters and one interval.
