On 6th December 2024 we‘re back with our (mostly) annual reading of Dylan Thomas‘s enchanting and poetic A CHILD‘S CHRISTMAS IN WALES. Accompanied on the piano by Paul Baeyertz.
A Child’s Christmas in Wales is a piece of prose written by the Welsh poet in 1952. The work is an anecdotal reminiscence of a Christmas from the viewpoint of a young boy, portraying a nostalgic and simpler time. It is one of Thomas’s most popular works.
A Child’s Christmas in Wales is a lovely way to enjoy the Advent season.
The second half of the evening will also include a reading of one of Dylan Thomas‘s works in German.
