It’s a bit confusing, I know. By some strange coincidence I’m currently directing two brilliant one-woman plays with two phenomenal actors.
‘Annie Wobbler’ by Arnold Wesker with Joanna Thorn for The Hamburg Players at Theater an der Marschnerstrasse from 1st to 11th September 2021
and
‘Iphigenia in Splott’ by Gary Owen with Naomi O’Taylor for my own Couch Theatre company at Sprechwerk Theatre in Hamburg on 7th and 8th September 2021.

Yesterday, I rehearsed Iphigenia, today Annie. I’m trying not to mix them up.

Oh, that sounds fabulous. Are either plays for middle-aged actresses( from mid thirties upwards?) Am an actress myself always looking for new plays. Especially One Woman shows

Both actresses are mid-thirties. Iphigenia should be late twenties however Naomi O’Taylor looks younger. Annie Wobbler is three different characters – aged 25-ish, 40-ish and 60-ish. 😊 They are two brilliant plays for women and I can thoroughly recommend them.
